Dr. Monique Huerta

MB ChB Dip Obs FRNZCGP

Monique is an Auckland Medical School graduate with many years of clinical experience in hospital medicine and general practice.

She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics from the University of Auckland and has practiced as a GP on the North Shore for 23 years. She is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and a member of the New Zealand Medical Association.

Outside work, she is a fitness fanatic who enjoys working out at the gym and training in Tae Kwon Do. She speaks fluent English, Spanish and French. Monique is committed to providing excellence in medical care to her patients.

Dr Vivienne Nickels

MB ChB Dip Obs FRNZCGP

Vivienne graduated from the Auckland Medical School in 1983, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma of Obstetrics (Dip Obs).

A Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, she has been working in general practice since 1986 in New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong. Upon her return from overseas in 1994, she based her practice on Auckland’s North Shore.

Vivienne is committed to providing friendly and high-quality medical care to her patients. Outside of work she enjoys sewing, cycling, good fiction novels and fair-weather sailing.

Dr Tanja Minic

MB ChB FRNZCGP

Dr Tanja Minic graduated from the Medical University in Belgrade, Serbia, where she laid a foundation for her medical career. After relocating to New Zealand in 1995, she then pursued specialist training in general practice, ultimately becoming a Fellow of the New Zealand College of General Practitioner in 2010.

Dr Tanja Minic’s expertise spans several areas of medicine, including paediatric care, women’s health, chronic care, and primary prevention. These fields are especially close to her heart, as she is deeply passionate about empowering people to achieve their full health potential. Dr Tanja has spent the majority of her illustrious career on the North Shore, where she has made a significant impact in the community. As of late 2024, she has brought her expertise and compassionate care to the East Coast Bay Doctors.

Outside the medical realm, Dr Tanja treasures her time with family, especially her two boys, who are her constant source of joy and inspiration. She has a deep appreciation for the arts, enjoying theatre, fine cuisine, and music. In her leisure time, Dr Tanja often indulges in peaceful walks with her beloved dog, finding balance and relaxation in the simple pleasures of life.

Dr Gee Hing Wong

MB ChB FRNZCGP MMgt Dip Derm

Dr Gee Hing Wong is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and a graduate of the Dunedin School of Medicine (University of Otago). Dr Wong served as the President of the Australasian Council of Chinese Medical Associations (ACCMA) in 2010, and President of the Auckland Chinese Medical Association (ACMA) in 2009-2010. He is the author of Chapter 18 Cole’s Medical Practice in New Zealand 2021, 14th ed: “Asian people in New Zealand”. 

Outside medicine, he holds a Master of Management degree, with a special reading interest in the economic history of the twentieth century. He enjoys spending time with his young family, swimming and playing tennis. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
